Voodoo Extreme (VE3D) @ IGN have recently held their annual Game of the Year Awards where most popular titles of 2008 competed in 16 distinct categories, from Best Graphics to Best Music/Rhythm Game. AoC fans must be pleased to hear that Age of Conan: Hyborian Adventures not only won the Massively Multiplayer Game of the Year award, but also was a runner up for overall 2008 Game of the Year Winner (which was Fallout 3, by the way). Age of Conan has really matured since the bumpy launch and continues to improve, so I believe this award is well-deserved. I don't see any other MMORPG titles that came out in 2008 that would match AoC in innovation and bringing new features to someone stagnant MMO industry.
